Simple to prepare and low-fat, this raw strawberry pie is a real crowd-pleaser. This recipe also proves that not all raw desserts need to be loaded with fats (albeit healthy ones…). This recipe is ALL about the berries!
Yield: 9 inch (24 cm) pie
Ingredients
Base
- 500 g dates
- 50 g of mulberries
- 50 g shredded coconut
Cream
- 300 g strawberries
- 450 g dates
Instruction
- In a blender mix the dates, then add mulberries, coconut flakes and mix again. Arrange in a pie model.
- Mix strawberries in a blender, then add dates and mix until smooth. Arrange on a base.
- Garnish with strawberries.
