It’s hard to imagine, but this ice-cream offers the same satisfaction as its richer sibling, the original Snickers, does. It has all the same melt-in-your-mouth pleasure and the full taste, yet it has no eggs or cream or sugar…CRUSH your candy bar cravings in a healthy way this year!

Ingredients

Banana Ice Cream
  • 3 frozen bananas (without a peel)
Raw Chocolate Sauce
  • ½ cup date paste (see notes below)
  • 1-2 Tbsp raw cacao (or carob) powder
  • 1 Tbsp peanut (or almond butter) butter, salt-free
Raw Caramel Sauce
  • ½ cup date paste (see notes below)
  • ⅓ tsp vanilla powder
Instruction
  1. Take bananas out of the freezer. Put them in the food processor and mix until it gets creamy. Scrape the walls of the food processor if needed.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the caramel sauce and pour the sauce over the ice-cream.
  3. Mix all the ingredients for the chocolate sauce and pour it over the ice-cream. Enjoy!

Notes

TO MAKE A DATE PASTE: Mix 2 cups dates with 1 cup of water in the blender. *Use almond butter if you want to make it completely raw. *Peanut butter is usually not raw.
