It’s hard to imagine, but this ice-cream offers the same satisfaction as its richer sibling, the original Snickers, does. It has all the same melt-in-your-mouth pleasure and the full taste, yet it has no eggs or cream or sugar…CRUSH your candy bar cravings in a healthy way this year!
Ingredients
Banana Ice Cream
- 3 frozen bananas (without a peel)
Raw Chocolate Sauce
- ½ cup date paste (see notes below)
- 1-2 Tbsp raw cacao (or carob) powder
- 1 Tbsp peanut (or almond butter) butter, salt-free
Raw Caramel Sauce
- ½ cup date paste (see notes below)
- ⅓ tsp vanilla powder
Instruction
- Take bananas out of the freezer. Put them in the food processor and mix until it gets creamy. Scrape the walls of the food processor if needed.
- Mix all the ingredients for the caramel sauce and pour the sauce over the ice-cream.
- Mix all the ingredients for the chocolate sauce and pour it over the ice-cream. Enjoy!
Notes
TO MAKE A DATE PASTE: Mix 2 cups dates with 1 cup of water in the blender. *Use almond butter if you want to make it completely raw. *Peanut butter is usually not raw.
