Enjoy this easy raw food recipe and make raw pizza crackers or ala bramborak crackers (not only Czech and Slovakians would enjoy the taste). Raw food crackers are a great alternative for traditional bread and you can keep them in sealed container in a fridge for up to a month.
Ingredients
Dough for ala bramborak raw food crackers
- 1/2 cup of grounded flaxseed and 1 1/2 cup flaxseeds soaked in approx. 2 cups of water for about 4 hours
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds, grounded
- 2 tablespoons of dried majoram or a cup of fresh majoram
- 5 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons salt (depends on your taste)
Dough for pizza carckers crackers
- 1/2 cup of grounded flaxseed and 1 1/2 cup flaxseeds soaked in approx. 2 cups of water for about 4 hours
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds, grounded
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, grounded
- 1/4 cup dried tomatoes, soaked until soft
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon tamari
- 1 tablespoon of spices of your choice, I use herb de provence
- 1/3 cup of raw olives, chopped
- generous pinch of black pepper add salt if needed
- add salt if needed
Avopepper dip
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 2-3 cherry tomatoes
- pinch of salt and black pepper
Instructions
Both types of crackers
- Mix all ingredients together in food processor until you get a sticky dough. Add more water if needed.
- Place your dough evenly on non-sticky sheets (about 1-2cm thick). You will probably use 2-3 trays.
- Dehydrate for 6 hours at 46 degrees, then cut in squares, remove the sheets and dehydrate for another 6 hours.
Avopepper Dip
- Blend all ingredients in food processor and serve with crackers. Enjoy raw food crackers with delicious avocado spread and please share this recipe with other if you like it
