Raspberry Cacao Brownies

Raw cacao brownies with a seductively gooey raspberry chia jam topping. Yep, this dessert by Andrew Davis of Millennial-Kitchen will have you forgetting about dinner completely – time to move right into dessert!

Brownie Base:

  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup dates
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

Raspberry Topping:

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds


1) In a food processor process the almonds, dates, cacao powder, sea salt and vanilla. It should form a dough like consistency.
2) Pour the mixture into a pan and press down to evenly distribute.
3) In a bowl mash up the raspberries and add in the chia seeds and maple syrup.
4) Pour over top the brownies & refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
