This green juice nourishes and cleanses through a bounty of natural (albeit leftover) goodness from dear mamma Earth; green apples, lemon, ginger, cucumber, with an abundance of extra broccoli and kale stems I saved from other culinary efforts. Reduce, reuse, recycle.
Ingredients
- 2 green apples
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 1 inch knob ginger
- 1 1/2 large English cucumber
- 2-3 broccoli stems
- handful of leftover kale stems
Instructions
Wash and prepare ingredients (remember to peel any non-organic produce). Juice the above ingredients using a juicer. Serve juice immediately, but remember to sip and ‘chew’ the juice slowly and thoroughly in order to intake the nutrients to their fullest.
