Ready for your spa treatment from the inside out? This smoothie is chock full of beautifying ingredients: avocado which nourishes the skin and hair with its healthy fat, hydrating cucumber and coconut water, Vitamin C -rich mango, fiber-loaded spinach, turmeric root to fight inflammation and cinnamon for a blood sugar stabilizing effect. The avocado makes it thick and frothy, even without any banana. It may not leave you feeling as relaxed as a 90 minute massage, but it will leave you feeling 100% nourished!
- 1 cup coconut water
- 2 big handfuls greens (I used a spinach and super greens mix)
- ½ cucumber
- ½ avocado (frozen is great here)
- Few chunks of frozen mango (abt half a cup)
- Dash of cinnamon
- Dash of turmeric
- 3 cubes of ice
- Place all ingredients in blender (starting with the coconut water) and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
