Cinnamon Bun Smoothie

There’s nothing like a fresh, hot cinnamon bun straight out of the oven – and this smoothie has all of that delicious flavor but none of the fat or white sugar. Bananas provide a naturally sweet base, as well as potassium, magnesium and fiber. Oats and cashew butter (more fiber, manganese, healthy fats and protein) continue to sweeten things up, while spinach adds a healthy dose of vitamins K, A, calcium and iron. Top this treat off with a dash of anti-inflammatory cinnamon, and you have a balanced meal replacement for any time of day!

  • 1 1/2 oz baby spinach
  • 2 bananas — peeled
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp cashew butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice
