Difficulty/Easy
Sometimes you just need to sink your teeth into a decadent piece of fudge. Raw nut butter gives these fudge squares a dense and creamy texture, while coconut oil makes them melt-in-the-mouth. This recipe also leaves all of the refined sugar typically found in fudge far behind, instead calling for a touch of maple syrup.
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw nut butter
- 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/3 cup cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a loaf tin lined with baking paper and freeze for approximately 1 hour to set. Take out of the freezer and cut into desired portion sizes.
Notes
I recommend storing these in the freezer. Allow to thaw slightly before eating
