Chaga Mushroom Elixir

This energy boosting elixir, made with chaga mushrooms is great as an alternative to coffee and is perfect for helping look after the endocrine system and supporting a healthy immune system.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Chaga mushroom
  • 3 star anise
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1/4 tsp Activated Charcoal
  • 1/4 tsp Baobab powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Order Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a coffee grinder or spice grinder and grind until a fine powder forms.
  2. Add the powder to a french press and fill with warm water. Refrain from using hot water as this negates some of the beneficial properties of the mushrooms.
  3. Leave to steep for 15-20 minutes and then plunge and pour into cups. It is great with some coconut milk or turned into a coconut milk latte.

Notes

You can use the powder more than once! Simply leave it in the French press and store it in the fridge and then add more water the next day when you are ready!
