A so-simple-it’s-genius recipe shared by Gena Hemshaw from her highly anticipated recipe book Choosing Raw. This is a great way to get a well rounded snack into your body with a balanced ratio of healthy carbs, essential fats, proteins, and fresh greens. Green smoothies are great but sometimes you need to chew!

Ingredients
- romaine lettuce leaves
- ripe bananas
For the Crumble Topping:
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 1/3 cups pitted medjool dates, tightly packed
- 2 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
For the Crumble Topping:
1) In a food processor, pulse together the walnuts, medjool dates, hemp seeds, chia seeds, and salt.Continue pulsing until the mixture is crumbly and broken down, but not quite sticky the way you’d want a snack bar base to be.2) Nestle fresh banana in romaine leaf, top with chia crumble, and enjoy!
