Go a little bananas today with this deliciously spiced smoothie recipe! The coldness of the frozen banana is perfectly complimented by the warming flavors of cardamon, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add in a tbs of espresso beans for a yummy caffeine kick – you’ll definitely feel like swinging from the rafters then. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup non dairy milk (RFR tip: we recommend homemade nut milk)
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 4 dates, pitted
- 1 tsp cardamom seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp espresso beans (optional)
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
