Attention ladies: this smoothie has a bunch of ingredients like ginger and fennel that will help to alleviate discomforts associated with menstruation. It also has some great superfoods that will benefit you the most if you eat often: cinnamon and turmeric. Great for balancing the blood sugar and keeping inflammation in check. Adding black pepper helps the bio-availability of turmeric. Enjoy and may you be comfortable and well (all days of the month).
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 orange
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1-2 cups non-dairy milk, fresh juice or water
Instructions
Blend everything together until smooth and delicious. Enjoy!
