Raw Maple Cinnamon Pumpkin Seed Walnut Butter

This recipe may be the most delicious way to up your daily amount of brain-nourishing omega fatty acids and immune- boosting and skin-loving trace mineral zinc.  A raw nut butter blend of pumpkin seeds and walnuts mixes with caramel-toned coconut sugar, sea salt, cinnamon, vanilla and maple extract for a total taste bud enlightening experience. Serve it with berries or fresh slices of apple and pear for a healthy sweet tooth fix.


  • 3 cups raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar (or you may use maple sugar)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple extract


  1. In a high speed blender, combine the seeds and nuts and blend until smooth (alternatively this can be done in a food processor but it takes a lot longer and will most likely not get as smooth).
  2. Add the coconut sugar, sea salt, cinnamon vanilla, and maple extract and blend until smooth. Store in a jar.
