Chocolate Orange Beet Smoothie

This is it… After one sip of this delicious shake you’ll be so lost in the zesty, citrus-infused chocolate flavor and thick, creamy texture to ever suspect that hidden within is one of the world’s most healthy and nutrient dense foods: beet greens. Try it out for yourself – in doing so you’ll benefit from loads of Vitamins K, C, A and minerals calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese, and copper – all of which are found abundantly in beet greens!

a few handfuls beet greens 
juice and zest of two oranges
2 cups almond milk 
4 bananas, frozen 
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
4 tablespoons hemp protein
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
pinch salt


1) In a blender, puree the beet greens, orange juice and zest, and almond milk until very smooth.

2) Add the remaining ingredients and, again, puree until smooth and creamy.
