Lemon, Ginger, and Green Tea Smoothie

Start your day off right with Emma Potts’ concoction of all fresh ingredients. This smoothie wakes you up and invigorates you for the stressful work day ahead!

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana or pear
  • 1 large handful of kale or spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1-2″ fresh ginger
  • 3/4 cup coconut water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon coconut nectar or liquid sweetener of your choice

Instructions

  1. Blend together all ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth and creamy.

Notes

You don’t need to peel the ginger — the blender pulverizes it down for you. However, if your blender isn’t as strong, you should peel the vegetable just to be safe.
