Difficulty/Easy
Dress up your meal with this colorful, festive dish. A simple fruit salad takes on a new spin when kiwi and mango are cut into cubes, artfully arranged, and then served with a complementary sauce. Use your imagination and try other fruit combinations for color and flavor!
Ingredients
- 2 kiwi, peeled, 1/2″ cubed
- 1 mango, peeled, pitted, 1/2″ cubed
- 1 pint strawberries, hulled
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 Tablespoons agave nectar
Instructions
In a dessert bowl, arrange kiwi and mango cubes into a checkerboard pattern. Stack two more layers in the same fashion. Set aside.
Using a high-speed blender, liquefy strawberries with agave nectar and lemon juice. Strain the sauce.
Pour the strawberry sauce around the stacked kiwi and mango.
For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice just before serving. Enjoy!
