Healthy Vegan Caramel Tart Recipe

This healthy salted caramel tart uses clean ingredients that can be easily sourced and are relatively affordable. Make it for your next celebration to impress your guests!

Ingredients

Base
  • 2 C raw almonds
  • 1 C shredded coconut
  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
Salted Caramel Layer
Clean Chocolate Topping
  • 2 Tbsp rice malt syrup (or liquid sweetener of choice)
  • 3 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder
  • shredded coconut for topping

Instructions

  1. Blend together the base ingredients until it reaches your desired consistency. I left mine a little chunky. Add some coconut milk if you need to. Pour into a small/medium sized pan of choice. Freeze.
  2. Process caramel layer ingredients until very smooth. Pour over base and freeze until topping is ready.
  3. Mix together clean chocolate ingredients in a bowl until mixture is smooth and consistent.
  4. Pour over salted caramel layer, sprinkle with shredded coconut, and refrigerate until firm.
