Green Lemonade

To be sure that you get your greens and nourish your body in a way that is cleansing, healing, and full of vitamins, minerals, calcium and a host of nutrients, try drinking your greens. The health benefits are too numerous to name here.  Your body will be thanking you, and your friends will want to know your secret.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 1 large lemon, peeled
  • 4-5 stalks of kale
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 cucumber, peeled
  • 1 pear (or green apple)
  • 1-inch slice ginger root
OPTIONAL ADD INS
  • 1 lime, peeled
  • 1apple in place of pear
  • Handful of parsley

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a juicer, and then sip & savor your green goodness.
