Have you ever tried taking only 1 type of fruit and making a meal of it? This perfect summer smoothie contains only fresh nectarines and nothing else. If you desire something a bit more complex you can blend in a few bananas or even a few soaked dates to sweeten it up. This is a great recipe to make if you’re wanting to give your digestive system a little rest. Kristina states, “Who said eating raw is too time consuming and complicated?! This eazzzy smoothie takes less than five minutes to make and is PERFECT for Summer weather! Enjoy!”

Yield: as much as you care for!

Ingredients

  • Nectarines (As many as you would like!)
  • Optional: Bananas
  • Optional: Dates

Instruction

1) Pit the nectarines, and throw them in the blender. Blend until completely smooth, pour in a glass, and hydrate!

Please do not feel badly that there is only one ingredient here. Simplicity here is key, and it is simply delicious! Why try to make life more complicated by adding a million more ingredients? Taste the many different flavors of this fruit while it is in season! PLEASE NOTE: This recipe can be made with ANY individual fruit like bananas, cantaloupes, honeydews, watermelons, pineapples, oranges, kiwis, tomatoes, pears, etc. Enjoy!
