What is the secret ingredient that gives this decadent-yet-healthful shake its amazing caramel candy bar-like flavor? Dried white mulberries! These chewy sweet berries have a very caramel-esque flavor yet are full of healthy nutrition such as vitamin c, iron, calcium and protein. Candy bar in a jar for breakfast? Heck yes!
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 3 tbsp dried mulberries soaked for 20 minutes ( + extra for decorating)
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender, sprinkle some extra mulberries on top and enjoy!
