Learn how to make delicious nut milk two different ways with these easy and fool-proof recipes by Iselin Stoylen of Vegetarian Taste. Super creamy, refreshing, nutritious, delectably sweet, and best of all, completely cruelty free. Cheers to that!
Ingredients
Almond Milk with dates
- 1,5 cup/ 3dl soaked almonds
- 7 dates
- 5 cups/ 1litre water
- pinch of salt
Cashew-cocoa Milk with dates
- 1,5 cup/ 3dl soaked cashews
- 7 dates
- 5 cups/ 1litre water
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- pinch of salt
Instructions
Add all ingredients for one of the nut mils to a high-speed blender and blend for a few minutes. Strain the milk through a strainer, or through a nut-milk cloth. The milk is best stored in the refrigerator where it stays delicious for at least 3 days.
