Embrace this new month, and the magic of the autumn season ahead, with a protein-filled apple cinnamon shake. After-all, you need to fuel up before you get outside and enjoy the beauty around you. A sugar-free recipe that will totally hit the spot.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups peeled, diced and frozen apples*
- 3/4 cup rich coconut milk — make your own raw or use full fat coconut milk
- 3 tablespoons vanilla protein powder of choice
- 3 large ice cubes
- 1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-2 drops stevia
- 3 tablespoons vanilla protein powder of choice
- 3 large ice cubes

- 1-2 drops stevia
Caramel Sauce (optional)
- 2 tablespoons coconut nectar or maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sunflower butter (or almond butter)
- 1/2 — 1 teaspoon water (or to thin as you like)
Instructions
Shake
- Blend all until smooth!
Caramel
- Whisk all ingredients together. This will give way more than you need to drizzle on the inside of the glass. Use as a dip for apples.
Notes
*You can totally leave the peel if you have a high speed blender and it won’t change the texture but it will change the colour.
