Did you know that by soaking and sprouting nuts and seeds they become easier for your body to digest? Most nut butters, even if raw and organic, have not gone through the process of soaking and germination, making Dastony brand very unique in that way. This smoothie makes the perfect base to showcase Dastony’s special sprouted almond butter, along with other goodies like raspberries, strawberries, cacao nibs, goji berries, a green superfood blend and coconut yogurt. This smoothie is full of brain and metabolism-boosting fats, and it’s also high in fiber yet low in carbs (no sugar!). Treat your body right and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoons raw almond butter, such as Dastony brand (the best!)
  • 1-2 tablespoons shredded coconut or coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries and/or strawberries
  • 1 cup coconut unsweetened vanilla yogurt, such as So Delicious (RFR tip: use homemade cultured coconut yogurt for a truly raw version — simply blend young Thai coconut meat with enough water to make into a yogurt consistency — then add probiotics to culture)
  • optional:
*1-2 tsp. goji berry powder or acai powder
*3 drops liquid stevia or 1/4 tsp. pure white organic stevia powder
*1 tsp. cacao flavored superfood powder — I use Bright Earth Superfood Smoothie Mix, the best!
    *1/4 cup ice
  • toppings:
raw cacao nibs, goji berries, coconut, or whatever else you like

Instructions

  1. Blend and enjoy!
