Ingredients
- 2 cups of almond milk (omit sweetener from this recipe) or pecan milk (get this recipe in my book!)
- 2 tablespoons of almond butter (raw preferably)
- 1 large banana, frozen (low sugar version omit or use avocado)
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup ice
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon maca powder (not if serving to children, maca is a hormone balancer and children don’t need it)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt (trust me, salt makes a smoothie taste like a milkshake!)
- 2 teaspoons xylitol or maple syrup (optional to sweeten, not raw)
Instruction
Blend to creamy perfection and serve!
